This one stop shop approach will ensure your event is a wonderful success. We offer a free and unbiased venue finding service together with an accommodation booking service, hosted site visits, the preparation of bid documents, help with partner programmes and the provision of support materials.

Set in the heart of England’s Northwest, Lancashire and Blackpool have excellent access links bys air, road, rail and sea. The area is a wonderful mix of rural and cosmopolitan, contemporary and traditional. You can enjoy conferences, meetings and events set against the sights, sounds and smells of the seaside, the rolling Pennine Moors or the highlife of the many cities and historic towns.

The Lancashire & Blackpool Conferences & Meetings Team represent hundreds of venues located within the Lancashire and Blackpool area. These are made up of purpose built conference facilities, hotels, unique and unusual attractions, service and transport providers. The team are friendly, unbiased and professional, offering sound advice and services to help you make the most of your event no matter how big or small.  The team have recently joined forces to produce the first ever Lancashire and Blackpool Conferences and Meetings Directory – a stunning brochure with details from hundreds of business tourism providers.


MEETING ROOMS

Lancashire and Blackpool have an enviable reputation for providing meeting rooms to cater for a range of requirements. We have welcomed world leaders, stage small specialist events and have experience at hosting everything in between, from 10-10,000 delegates. Venues include hotels, historic buildings, theatres, country clubs, universities and football grounds.

LOCATION


  

Lancashire and Blackpool are located in the heart of England’s North West. The area is easily accessible from all parts of the UK, while Irish and European visitors can fly directly into Blackpool’s International Airport.

The M6 motorway serves Lancashire and Blackpool to the North and the South by road, while strong regional rail links provide regular services from Edinburgh, Cardiff, London and beyond.

A number of improvements are also taking place – Improvements to the West Coast Line will see a greater service throughout the area and improved facilities to the built environment at key gateway points such as Preston, Lancaster and Blackpool will create a more enjoyable journey.

Additional enhancements include the improvement of the Fylde Coast public transport system, which will incorporate the upgrading of the tramway.
