Magna

Magna is an awe-inspiring and breathtaking venue housed in the former Templeborough Steelworks, Rotherham. Awarded gold for the Enjoy England Business Tourism Award in 2006, Magna is ideal for corporate hospitality, exhibitions, large conferences, product launches, award ceremonies, team building, concerts and functions. Spaces include the Big Hall and Magna Arena, a giant blank canvas that can be transformed into just about anything, allowing event organisers to use their imagination. Magna also has a multi-story, multi-media space in the Face of Steel. In March 2007 Magna opened a new £2.7 million corporate development which includes: a new 600sqm event space in the Red Hall; a new glass fronted 150 seater restaurant with an external terraced area with amazing views over the former steelworks; seven new flexible syndicate rooms for smaller meetings and presentations; a new glazed walkway leading to the Big Hall; new in-house catering for all events; and new kitchen and toilet facilities to service the main events space.

The new break-out facilities allow Magna to host conferences for up to 2500, with dedicated workshop/breakout space now available.
